{"id":2293,"date":"2016-04-24T18:00:54","date_gmt":"2016-04-24T17:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.marshflattsfarm.org.uk\/wordpress\/?p=2293"},"modified":"2016-04-25T21:26:40","modified_gmt":"2016-04-25T20:26:40","slug":"successful-aecb-site-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marshflattsfarm.org.uk\/wordpress\/?p=2293","title":{"rendered":"Successful AECB Site Visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ever since the build started the plan has been to host a visit for the nearest\u00a0(Nottingham) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aecb.net\/events\/\" target=\"_blank\">AECB Local Group<\/a>. The main challenge has been to gauge the &#8220;best&#8221; time, when much\u00a0of the building\u00a0had been\u00a0completed to provide enough\u00a0to look at but before some of the interesting (e.g. air tightness) details got covered up. Today\u00a0seemed like about the right time, despite clashing with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.passivhaustagung.de\/en\/content\/international-passive-house-conference\" target=\"_blank\">International Passivhaus Conference<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We had a good turnout of about 20 people, some of whom joined us for an enjoyable chat about energy-efficient building over lunch beforehand.
