My architect, Justin Smith, arranged an informal discussion with the Planning Officer covering the Aston-On-Trent parish of South Derbyshire, Tony Burdett. We had that meeting this morning.<\/p>\n
Tony confirmed he was familiar with the site and with the nature of the existing planning application. He’s pretty enthusiastic about more contemporary designs and advised that from his standpoint, especially given the relatively isolated nature of the site, he would be happy to see a planning application for a more contemporary main house coupled with the reinstatement of the outbuildings in a more traditional style.<\/p>\n
We expected that response but it was good to have confirmation that the planning department are likely to look favourably on a relatively contemporary design.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
