A very neat and tidy installation by <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.providor.co.uk\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.providor.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Privodor<\/a> who are recruiting and training new installers to help with the backlog. (I don&#8217;t know why those meter tails with coloured sheathing, originally installed by SSE, aren&#8217;t more widely available \/ used.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As expected it had no issues with getting a Telefonica (O2) signal and it commissioned straight away. Once it registers with Octopus I&#8217;ll be switched to their <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/octopus.energy\/agile\/\" target=\"_blank\">Agile<\/a> tariff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"741\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/www.marshflattsfarm.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/SmartMeter.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4846\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.marshflattsfarm.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/SmartMeter.jpg 741w, https:\/\/www.marshflattsfarm.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/SmartMeter-300x277.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.marshflattsfarm.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/SmartMeter-325x300.jpg 325w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 741px) 100vw, 741px\" \/><figcaption>SMETS2 Meter installed in the outdoor Meter Cabinet<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A pleasant surprise is that the supplied <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/chameleontechnology.co.uk\/solutions\/smart-in-home-displays\/#ihd6\" target=\"_blank\">Chameleon IHD6<\/a> in-home display had no issues with range (the cabinet is about 15m from the house) and it&#8217;s (mostly) picking up a signal in the middle of the house.
