Quite a busy day, with deliveries of 15 of the lighting fixtures and – notably – of the main set of doors and windows. These were custom made in Latvia (by Arbo Windows<\/a>) and arrived in one large crate, weighing more than 700kg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were also deliveries of the first layer of fibreglass insulation for the ‘loft’ and the plasterboard that will be installed on the ceilings of the Workshop and Utility Room (only).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weather has turned showery again, but in between the showers the build team made good progress with the first of two decorative ‘buttresses’ that are reproducing a feature from the original barn (likely retrofitted to the original barn when the original walls started to move on their very limited foundations).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
