Week 8, Day 5:
- More progress on the cavity walls, both inner and outer, including the installation of the Damp-Proof-Courses.
- There are strong winds (up to 50 mph) forecast for the weekend so some of the blockwork has been braced to help support it until the mortar cures.
![The damp-proof-courses - the inner one will get joined to a membrane over the beam-and-block floor before the insulation goes over the floor](http://www.marshflattsfarm.org.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/IMG_1091.jpg)

![The "double damp" - two layers of damp-proof-course membrane, one immediately above the blue bricks and one just visible above the first block - which gives the option to bring the external ground level up to the top of the blue bricks to match the internal floor level](http://www.marshflattsfarm.org.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/IMG_1097.jpg)

![Lots of Ancon TeploTie cavity wall ties - such a large number used here because there is relatively little wall structure in this area](http://www.marshflattsfarm.org.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/IMG_1099.jpg)
