Week 8, Day 3:

• Another day without a huge amount of visible progress, mainly because the team of bricklayers due to start work on the blockwork above the ground floor level were delayed on another job and are now expected to start on Thursday instead.
• One key piece of preparation was making the wooden templates for the window and door openings that the bricklayers will work to. The plan is to have the window supplier (ecoHaus Internorm) measure the openings in the blockwork and then make the windows to fit the measurements, which provides a bit of leeway in case the blockwork isn’t quite spot-on. Photo further down, taken later in the week.
