While weekend working isn’t customary, this is the second weekend where noteworthy progress was made – this time on the block paving, where the team had been busy with other work and were struggling to make time. While it was drizzling all morning – which would have been an issue for bedding paving blocks on sand – these permeable blocks get bedded on 6mm stone chips, which can still be levelled when they’re wet.
