The weather continues to be bone-dry – but now also very hot, especially towards the end of the day. Some of today’s progress is visible in the overview photo, roughly positioning the roof trusses over the Utility Room (which were then fixed in place by the end of the day). Also some careful trimming slots into the cavity insulation boards to accept the roof trusses.

The scaffolders are booked to raise the height of the platform around the Garages on Monday.

Also had a site visit from the Solar PV installation team, advising on the installation of the in-roof ‘trays’ that will house the actual panels (instead of having roof tiles under the panels) and reviewing the arrangements for the inverter, batteries and ‘Backup Gateway’ and the cabling required for those.
