Week 34, Day 5

Week 34, Day 5:

  • Some very heavy rain showers, hence the generally-damp look and the muddy puddles
  • The Ground Source Heat Pump and its accompanying tanks were delivered ready for installation next week
  • Some more electrical first-fix, mostly low-voltage cabling to the LED down-lighters from their (remote) drivers
  • Battening out the Master Bedroom walls and (sloping) ceiling ready for plasterboard – see photos below

Week 6, Day 2

Week 6, Day 2:

  • Finishing off the back-filling of the trenches for the GSHP collector pipes.
  • Using a mini-digger within the footprint of the house to start preparing the ground ready for the “oversite” concrete which will cover and seal the bare earth and form the bottom of the ventilated void below the beam-and-block ground floor.
