Inspection by Building Control early in the day which confirmed they were happy with the drain layouts so those are now partially back-filled – initially with pea shingle then (in some places) with excavated material.
Further work to prepare the drainage connections for the rainwater downpipe connections.
Final preparations for the pouring of the concrete floor slabs tomorrow. All of the insulation boards were laid then covered with another layer of damp-proof membrane. One result of that is that it’s not obvious that the Garage floor (at the far left of the overview photo) is a 150mm uninsulated concrete slab, whereas the other rooms are 100mm of concrete over 110mm of insulation.
