The scaffolding is now completed – for the ‘first lift’ anyway; it will need to go higher in due course. One (anticipated) drawback of that is that it blocks tele-hander access into the Courtyard, so mortar etc. has to be moved by wheelbarrow.
More progress on the brickwork, though mostly on the ‘hidden’ side of the far wall.
Still more progress on the scaffolding (though it’s not quite complete yet) and all the brickwork is being built up around the inside of the courtyard,
There are a couple of steel beams required – one to support the roof over the bumped-out section of the Garages and another above the bi-fold doors at the end of the Workshop. Those are being designed by a structural engineer.
