• Various discussions and preparations for later stages – foundation concrete, steelwork, insulation for the beam-and-block floor etc.
• Completing the first (northern) trench for the GSHP collector pipes and completing about half of the second (southern) one.

Week 2, Day 3:

• Digging the first trench for the Ground Source Heat Pump pipes, 1.5m wide x 50m long – not visible in the overview shot so see the second photo below
• Site visit from MFA Building Control, to inspect the foundations before the concrete is poured (booked for Monday 2015-10-19)
• Clearing the weeds and marking the location of the second GSHP trench ready for digging tomorrow
