Week 45, Day 2:

• More work on the landscaping, levelling out the rubble remaining from the demolition of the old barns to form a parking area by the (future) garages
• Lots more second-fix electrical, including starting to wire up the control boards for the lighting and window blinds
• Applying the oil finish to the oak flooring – second coat on the Second Floor (Office and Landing) and first coat on the Ground Floor (Living Room and Dining Room)
• Adding some of the insulation to the MVHR ducts
  • The Intake and Exhaust ducts will be carrying air at “outside” temperature to the MVHR unit, through the “internal” air in the Plant Room – so there’s a risk of condensation and they need to be heavily insulated (even though the ducts themselves are made of expanded polystyrene)
• More work on the skirting boards, architraves and internal doors

Week 45, Day 2

Rubble from old barns levelled out to form parking area

KNX and DALI control boards on the First Floor

First coat of oil finish on the oak flooring in the Living Room

Second coat of oil finish on the oak flooring in the Home Office

Partially completed insulation on the Intake and Exhaust MVHR ducts
