Week 73, Day 4

Week 73, Day 4:

  • The build team are back on site so I’m going to re-start the daily Blog updates and call this Week 73
  • There’s not much to see from the overview shot but they’re proceeding with the rainwater drainage as shown in the second photo below
  • The other big event of the day was the switch-on of the Solar PV installation – with the EPC in-place – all very uneventful since it “just worked” and managed to generate 15 kWh on a fairly overcast day
    • The SolarEdge inverter is logging data to the SolarEdge Internet portal so I’ve got some work to do to extract performance data from there via their API

Week 51, Day 4

Week 51, Day 4:

  • Installing the remaining inspection chambers, connecting up the drains and supporting them in concrete so they stay in position during back-filling of the trenches
  • Finishing touches on the Ground Source Heat Pump installation, insulating the remaining fittings and topping up the brine circuit after it’s been running for a while and the automatic air vents have bled out most of the air (with a consequent reduction in operating pressure)
