Day 4:
- Better weather today – no rain and forecast dry for at least the next week
- Site visit from the Structural Engineer, to agree what to do about building over the old cellar
- The plan is to use wooden shuttering to hold the foundation concrete, in lieu of a trench, then back-fill around the concrete
- More digging of the foundation trenches, to the right depth in relation to the finished floor level
- Site welfare cabins delivered and installed
Week 1, Day 4
The site welfare cabins arrived on a pretty impressive delivery lorry with a crane that had no problem reaching right the way back to the trailer and could swing the cabins into position some way away.
