Partial first-fix for the front door control unit

Partial first-fix for the front door control unit

The Paxton Net2 control unit for the front door needs surprisingly many connections:

  • A mains feed via a fused spur
  • An Ethernet connection to link back to the server PC, for programming
  • A connection out to the door, to lock/unlock it
  • A connection to the intruder alarm, for arming/disarming the alarm via a key fob
  • A connection to the door intercom, so that can also unlock the door (remotely)

Further connections, required but not yet installed:

  • The external proximity reader
  • The internal proximity reader
  • The 24DC power supply for the door lock
