Week 30, Day 5:

As usual these days, more first-fix of the electrical and plumbing systems
A site meeting with the lighting designer to finalize the design for the second floor lighting where we’re having to use low-profile and surface-mount fittings because there’s only a shallow service void between the plasterboard and the SIPs
Work preparing for the wet plaster on the masonry walls, applying pro clima Contega PV tape on the edges of the plywood boxes for the windows
- This has a mesh component which embeds in the plaster and a fleecy component which also sticks to the plaster and provides an air seal
A delivery of semi-rigid pipes for the ventilation system

Week 30, Day 5

Air tightness tape (pro clima Contega PV) where window boxes meet masonry walls

MVHR ductwork ready for installation

Week 30, Day 4:

More first-fixing
Plastering-in the air-tight tape on the southern bedroom walls, where these will get plasterboard rather than a wet plaster finish (which normally forms the air-tight layer)
More work on the studwork walls – especially on the second floor where the plasterboard will get installed first
