Week 42, Day 1:

The team from Full Metal Roofing were back on-site and completed about half of the zinc roof covering on the curved section of the north roof
More plastering, including the Hall ceiling and the Balcony ceiling
Trimming back the cedar cladding around the first- and second-floor windows ready for boards on the reveals and the window sills
Marking out the kitchen ceiling ready for the in-ceiling loudspeakers
(Actually on Saturday): Transporting the bespoke (extra-tall) interior doors from the builders’ workshop to site

Week 42, Day 1

Working on the zinc over the curved section of the north roof

Plastered ceiling above the first-floor balcony

Mira shower fittings in second bedroom en-suite

Bespoke interior doors temporarily stored in Living Room

Week 41, Day 4:

More second-fix electrical, including the installation of some of the LED down-lighters
More work on the kitchen, including installing the fridge, the main sink, sorting out the placement of the taps and the pop-up sockets and having Midland Stone Centre measure up for the worktops which should be ready in a week
More finishing up on the balcony, cladding the walls in cedar
- Now that I come to check the photo some of the boards have been stored wet, have discoloured and will need to be replaced
More plastering in the Living Room
