More progress on the roof tiling – above and to the left of the solar PV array.
Multiple deliveries too – another 2,000 roof tiles and the rainwater goods.
Then also the first day of first-fix on the electrical installation.
Some cooler and more overcast weather this week, making for rather better working conditions on site. Progress on the mortar fill on the gable-end verges on the North end of the Garage block – and on the detailed work fitting the tiles at the Northern end and along the bottom of the solar panel array.
The solar panel team also returned to site, to advise on the tile fitment above the panels and to first-fix install the 25m of cabling between the solar panels and the inverter. (This cabling carries DC at roughly 600V so it’s no issue having a relatively long cable run.)
