Outbuildings: Week 36, Day 4

The main progress today was more second-fix of the alarm system, where most of the physical installation was completed – with the exception of the magnetic contact on one of the roller shutters, because the controller isn’t responding and the door is stuck open (that will get attention from the installers tomorrow) and the radio link to the alarm system in the House.

The automatic reader for the various M-Bus meters was also installed, now the data network is operational.

Outbuildings: Week 34, Day 2

Another fairly quiet day, with no update on the delivery of the flow control chambers.

However, there was a solid day of progress on the second-fix of the alarm system; the bell-box for that being visible on the overview photo and the initial commissioning of the alarm (running from its backup batteries) has been completed. The finishing touches will be applied once the garage doors have been installed, since those need to have magnetic contacts to flag any attempt to force them open.
