Week 29, Day 2:
- Fixing the zinc roof panels under the eaves on the eastern elevation, so now the cedar cladding can go on that side
- Lots more first-fix, electrical and plumbing
The Paxton Net2 control unit for the front door needs surprisingly many connections:
- A mains feed via a fused spur
- An Ethernet connection to link back to the server PC, for programming
- A connection out to the door, to lock/unlock it
- A connection to the intruder alarm, for arming/disarming the alarm via a key fob
- A connection to the door intercom, so that can also unlock the door (remotely)
Further connections, required but not yet installed:
- The external proximity reader
- The internal proximity reader
- The 24DC power supply for the door lock
