Week 38, Day 3

Week 38, Day 3:

  • The first change in the outside view for a while – the team from Full Metal Roofing are back on site and have been working on the south roof
    • After lots of discussion the agreement is to install a “structured underlay” under the zinc sheets on both the north and south roof
    • This underlay has a springy plastic mesh which creates an air space between the zinc and the supporting OSB, allowing for a degree of ventilation and importantly letting any condensation which might form under the zinc drain away
  • More plastering, more electrical first-fix and more door frames
  • Installing the recessed LED strip light in the entrance hall
