Week 40, Day 4:

Floor tiling in the bathrooms – the tiles are now installed in about half of the rooms
Delivery of the appliances for the kitchen ready for those to be installed next week
Tidying up the external corners on the cedar cladding
More plastering in the ground-floor rooms
More second-fix electrical, preparing some of the connections in the Plant Room
- There’s now power to some of the circuits, including the PIR-switched lights in the Plant, Comms and Storage Rooms on the Second Floor

Week 40, Day 4

Floor tiles (without grout yet) in the Second-Floor Bathroom

Floor tiling (without grout yet) in the En-Suite for Bedroom 3

Finishing touches to the cedar cladding at the external corners

Week 40, Day 3:

More second-fix electrical – notably connecting the supply cable to the meter (which is in a GRP cabinet outside the house) and replacing some of the switchgear used for the temporary outdoor socket.
A bit of progress on the second-fix plumbing, installing one of the bathroom washbasins and preparing the others
Preparing for the porcelain floor tiles in the bathrooms with a coat of PVA on the chipboard sub-floor followed by “No More Ply” boards glued and screwed into place.
Further great work by the plastering team from GC Interfinish – working on the kitchen (ready for the kitchen units which will be arriving shortly) and the rest of the Open Plan area on the Ground Floor.
